Hi
I live in UK and I am a job seeker.
I am good reader for this forum but never posted much on this.I finished my Masters in dec 2007 and gave birth to baby in 2008.So i was busy with baby but at the same time i started reading .net ,i thought it gonna be easy to read and get job.But because of lack of concentration i couldn't get job actually i didn't apply any job.
and later about year back i started learning sql server and MSBI ,attended classes ,and same again i am reading practising but not able to get the confidence.when i see user's posts about their queries and problems i get lot of tense and think how to solve if i face that.
Well actually this all about my background my question is , i want to apply jobs now,and i am new to job field but i have to keep 2yr's exp in my resume to forward it,how i have to prepare for interview and what they will expect from me.Please any help will be appreciate.

Do you have any real life experience as a programmer or any other role in the IT industry?
I would try for an entry level position in whatever field is closer to the one you do have experience to show - alternative would be to volunteer until you feel confident and able to show a reasonable experience.

i Don't have any real time experience ,now i am looking to work in sql server.
That's true i have to wet my self ,well now i have put a fake resume in market to know the market and to get used with agent calls.
Very soon i will put my real resume.I will do my best to get one role for me.
Because of gap i have i am keeping some exp for 2 yrs,well here some means fake exp it doesn't sound good but i have to do that.

The first thing I recommend is to get in touch with local recruiters.
I have to ask, is English your native language? Not to criticize, but your posts in this thread seem to indicate otherwise. Thus, it might be a good idea to have someone edit your resume to bring it up to expected standards. That can make a big difference in getting considered for an interview. Many/most companies will reject a resume for grammatical errors even if the person has the requisite skills and experience.
On the point of needing experience, I don't know for certain about the UK, but in the US, a degree is usually considered comparable to about the same number of years of experience. If you have a Masters degree in computer science, for example, most job postings will ask for, "Bachelors/Masters degree, or equivalent experience". So you should probably be able to get around the experience requirement by that means, without having to falsify a resume.
Which brings me to that plan. All I can say is, DON'T!!! If you get caught, you will be fired, and you might even be sued. I've seen it happen. Misrersenting yourself that eggregiously is a really, really, really bad idea, no matter how desperate you are.

May be because of this false experience idea i am not having enough confidence .
Well i will definitively try to follow your guidelines.And yes English is not my negative language.I will show my resume for proof reading but could you please tell me where did you find mistakes in my post(just to know).

The grammatical issues are pretty pervasive.
For example, this:

Should probably be rewritten thusly:
I am a frequent reader on this forum but have not posted much.
I finished my Masters degree in December 2007, but did not start job hunting at that time because I was busy with newborn child. I did spend that time studying .NET, because I thought it would make getting a job easier. However, I ended up not applying for any jobs at that time because of conflicts for my attention.
I did some editing as well as correction, but the errors in paragraphing, punctuation, verb tense, capitalization, use of conjunctions, and non-standard word choices (like "reading" instead of "studying"), all indicate being native to a different grammatical structure and punctuation method. Perhaps an Asian language, or Middle Eastern, at a guess. The Latin and Germanic languages usually leave different "marks" on English-as-a-second-language writings, than the ones I'm seeing here.

Cool biz.
Not a problem in posts here. But on a resume, you want to look as good as you can.
