Hi.
Please assist? I uninstalled SQL 2014 and when i try to install another instance i get this error. Looks like ll of the components did not entirely uninstall and is prohibiting a new installation.

But that doesn't look like an error from an install. It looks like the error is from doing a removal of a 2012 instance or features, not for a 2014 installation. Go to the directory that shows in you screen shot and check the logs.
C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Setup Bootstrap\Log
There should be a folder in there from the date time of whatever you were doing.
There the same kind of thing for installs as well but its hard to tell what versions of what you are installing or deleting. Maybe you have versions mixed up for installing, uninstalling.
