Can''t shrink log

  Hi,

  I have been scheduled for this task sometimes ago and it works ok.

  I schedule this for running once a week

  just recently ( a couple weeks) I have a problem it says

  Cannot shrink log file 2 (NAV_Log) because requested size (4505600KB) is larger than the start of the last logical log file. [SQLSTATE 01000] (Message 9007)  DBCC execution completed. If DBCC printed error messages, contact your system administrator. [SQLSTATE 01000] (Message 2528).  The step succeeded.

   

  I use:

  backup log navision with no_log

  use [NAV] DBCC SHRINKFILE (N'NAV_Log', 4400)

   

  What should I fix here?

  Hi

  The data used is still bigger then the size you wan to shrink , increase the the shrink size
