On SQL 2005 SP2 , Build 3054,
in SSIS script transformations, I can't open the script, get error: "Can't
show Visual Studio for Applications editor". I see kb938608, about renaming
DTSRuntimeWrap.dll, but I do not have that dll or the other 3 mentioned in
that kb, on the server. The kb also talks about a GAC-ProcessorArchitecture folder, but that also doesn't exist on the server. I have seen suggestions
to re-register the dll's in various folders, but that has not helped.
This problem developed after applying SP2 and GDR2 to bring server to
9.00.3054.
Thank you,
Holly

Have you upgraded your tools to SP2? I imagine you have, but it's worth a shot.

Jim,
When you say tools, do you mean SSIS? SP2 and GRD2 have been applied on the server where SQL 2005 and SSIS are installed. I did not actually apply the service pack, but I assume it was applied properly. Do you think there is some choice in the patch application that could omit a necessary step?
Thanks,
Holly
