HI,
I am trying to link a view from SQL server to Access but when I try to do this I cannot see any views in the list that appears.
I am doing File> Get External Data> Link Tables (Select ODBC)
Then I go 'Machine data source' and click on the DSN - the view is not on the list that appears
I can see the tables OK - just not the views - couldl anyone help?
thanks
Steve

Stephen,
Check the login permissions and ensure the SQL views have been granted rights. Both Tables and Views should be available as long as SQL permits access.
If you have a session of SQL on your local system, try linking to Northwinds database via Access to see how it should work.

Just remember that views appear as tables and not queries in an Access database!
