Can''t register new instance in EM

  I have a new install of SQL 2000 (SP4) on a Windows 2003 box and I am having one heckova time getting it to register in my EM console.  This system lies behind our firewall so that isn't a factor.  I have tried to odbcping it without success either.

  Any thoughts?
