cant login remotely with sqlserver account

  we tighten sql security a lot past month and now I noticed I cant login remotely using sql account but I can login remotely using windows login.

  If i do a remote desktop connection to the database server then I can login using the sqlserver account .

  what could we have done and how can I reverse it ?

  Are you getting any errors when you are trying to connect remotely using a SQL Server login?

  I don't know of any way to limit SQL Server logins basd on remote or local connection.
