Can't find Sql agent in Sql server 2008 express edition with R2

    Hello all,

    I m having sql server 2008 express edition with service pack 2 installed. still i cant find sql agent option in my object explorer.

    If any one can help mne out.

    I don't understand Express never comes with the Agent and SQL Server 2008 R2 just changed the database size from 4gig to 10 gig but the Agent is still not free. Check below for details.

    agreed. they gave you the option to install SSMS on the newer versions, but not the Agent.
