Can''t connect to Access data source when accessing reports from browser

  Hello,

  I have three shipping reports set up for Reporting Services 2005. One queries a SQL table and the other two query an Access DB (via OLE DB). The reports work well when viewing them in SQL Server BI Development Studio. However, when I try to run the Access DB reports from the browser (Web based Report Manager) I get the following error.

  "An error has occurred during report processing.

  Cannot create a connection to data source 'UPSDB_OLEDB'.

  For more information about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote errors"

  The report that queries SQL Server works fine.

  This seems like a permissions problem, but I'm stumped, I'm logging in as the administrator.

  Work around:

  Link Access db via a linked server to SQL Server.

  Set SQL Server as datasource.

  The query will connect to Access through SQL Server at report run time.

  Always good to answer your own questions, hope this helps someone else.
