cannot view Sql server 2008 in mgmt studio

    In SQL Server Mgmt studio I can only see the installation of sql server expess 2008.

    Although I do have save sql server 2008 installed, because it is is the installed programs list in the Add/Remove Programs.

    How can I view the sql server 2008 in SSMS?

    Also need to install Reporting server. How can I do that on sql server express 2008.

    Are U Try to Register ur SQL2008server withis SSMS?

    Can U see the SQL2008server Instance into SQL server config. manager.

    Do you have a 2008 express instance and a seperate 2008 instance?

    If so which instance are you conencting to when launching SSMSE?

    I dont see sql server 2008 in sql server config manager.

    I installed sql server 2008 and express version separately, and i only see express version in sql server mgmt studion
