  hello!

  i cant start any service of sql server 2005.

  This sql server is running on a virtual machine, and the machine is part of a domain.

  On this virtual machine i have run dcpromo and create a domain controller for the existing domain, then i have demoted this domain controller. After this the sql server cannt start.

  Any idea how to fix this ?

  solved.

  i had to delete the virtual machine from the main domain controller and reboot both machines(virtual machine and main domain controller).
