Cannot see errors or warnings in SSIS - why ?

My package fails. I can see part of the error messages in the "execution results" tab. But, I see nothing in the Error List window. Why is this happening ? Please see the attached link for the photo. Is the tool buggy ? I use SS 2008 R2 (Genuine by the way)

The error window is for errors/warnings when you are designing the package. (for example: you did not specify a connection manager for the Execute SQL Task)

For runtime information, you need to take a look at the Output window or the progress tab.

If the problem is that you cannot see the whole error, then in the Execution Results or Progress tab right click the error and copy then paste it into notepad or something.
