Hi guys,
I am looking for help with setting the tabular model's compatibility level to 1400.
I've got SQL Server developer edition, with SSAS tabular installed 14.0.230.1 and the DISCOVER_XML_METADATA lists the following, which I believe is an indicator that I have got the 1400 capability installed.
<ddl400:DefaultCompatibilityLevel>1200</ddl400:DefaultCompatibilityLevel>
<ddl600:SupportedCompatibilityLevels>1100,1103,1200,1400</ddl600:SupportedCompatibilityLevels>
However, in my SSDT (VS Data Tools 2015) does not list the 1400 compatibility. I am also not able to change the compatibility level from Model.bim file's properties, it's disabled.
And, this tabular model is the WorldWideImporters model from MS.
Thanks
Kaz

You likely need to use a more current version of SSDT to work with SQL Server 2017 components.
