cannot save DTS Package

    sql server 2000 .sp3

    This error pops up when trying to save a dts package .............

    Error Source Microsoft Data Transformation Service (DTS)

    Error description The Dts host failed to host or load the package

    Seemingly errors of this type are related to sql server 2005

    Update ...

    My client was SP4 and the database is SP3 not sure if this has anything to do but once I change clients to an SP3 client all seems to work  work fine..
