Hi mate.....I am new in this area but I have been studying this from past 6 months. However, I'll try my best to help u out from this situation. U can try this
1 . A4TECH-PC is u r computer/ Host name
2 . If u have installed two instance then
a) Default instance
ex: in my computer Server name is " (local) " -try this with brackets
b) named instance
It would be u r computer name and the named instance
A4Tech-PC\A4tech
Note: Its compulsory to have 1 default instance when u install sql server
3 . U can also give it a try to change properties
SQL SErver 2008 > Configuration tool> SQL Server Configuration Manager > Sql Server service > Select u r instance and right click. try to change to win authentication mode.
I just tried my best to give u solution............I hope it helps
kind regards
Azzu
