Created distributor, publications, subscribers )pull subscriptions) and started replication without any problem. All and all I am following a replication advice from many sources here, BOL, and Hilary Cotter's book. Everything was working fine until a few minutes when the logreader agent in one of the replicated databases returned a long error message, stating:
"cannot find sp_MSins_CategoryTable"
Any ideas? I thought "sp_MSins_CategoryTable" was located in the distribution database, but no. Neither in the target or the destination databases.
Thank you for your help in advance

I have faced a similar situation where I'm unable to find "sp_MSin_EVENTCATEGORY" with Error number 3701
Any Clue?

So far what I have gather is that transactional replication (is the one I am using) needs the snapshot regardless of the option to create the publication and not run the snapshot if both databases are equal. I did recreate the whole set and run the snapshot. After I did it that way, everything worked fine.
Still, why the wizard gives the option if needs the snapshot. I send my question to Microsoft. If anything I will come back here. Good luck

Run SP_SCRIPTPUBLICATIONCUSTOMPROCS '[PUBLICATION NAME]' on source database and that will generate a script. Copy the script and execute the script on Destination database. If you have any questions ... let me know.

Thanks, I set a different database for my replication test and the tables were created all right. Replication is working fine now. I just dropped the publication for the database returning that error and will test it in a few. If error shows up again, I will proceed as recommended. Thank you
