Cannot find Management Studio interface SQL Server enterprise edtion

I installed SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition on Windows 2003 Server. I cannot find the Management Studio Interface. All i see is the configuration tools interface. What am i doing wrong? please help.

Rerun the install, make sure you chose to install the tools.

Thanks for your reply.
I uninstalled everything on the server and reinstalled the SQL Server. I choose all the tools including Database components, reporting services, notification services etc. It seems to have installed till the end before it gave "unexpected error". All the services are installed but the Management studio. any ideas why its doing it?

I could successfully install all the services. The problem im having is trying to install the "WOrkstation components, book online and development tools". It gives me an unexpected error. I tried looking up the log file as it says to do so in the error message. I looked up the log file
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\LOG\files\SQLSetup0006_SNSUSQL2005_Core.log
here is the error message:

What edition of sql 2005 installed?
You might have installed either workgroup or express edition. Check the following...

I might sound stupid but i have been to this road earlier.
1. Did you install workstation components?
2. You need two CD (or folder Server and Tools) to install "everything"
3. Is it on cluster?
Decimal 3221225477 = Hex C0000005 (which means access violation) which might be caused because of some 3rd party service(???)
I would suggest you to open support case with Microsoft and look for their recommendations.
Before that, can you please post content of SQLSetup0006_SNSUSQL2005_Core(Local).log

The problem is that you had a previous installation and the current installation does not have the proper rights to right to all of the pre-existing directories.
Solution:
- Uninstall all SQL components again
- Find the SQL Server directory in Program Files and delete the entire directory and all contents inside. If you have any backups or data/log files in there that you want saved, copy them to a different location first.
- Re-install
This will allow the current installation to create the directories itself, thus no permissions issues.

I guess someone had the same unfortunate problem as this one and worked for a few days for digging out the answer

It's cropped up a couple of times. Our developers have a SQL Server running on their own computer for dev work and when they upgraded to 2005, a couple of them had this problem.

i found that sometimes unless you copy the install files locally to the server you are installing, it errors out with a permissions issue or something similar.

I uninstalled, removed the SQL Server folder from the program files directory ( I could not find any log or datafiles in any other directory) than re-installed but the same problem.
below is the SQLSetup0001_SNSUSQL2005_Core(Local).log file.
