Hi All ,
I have created a SSIS package on my local machine .
Now i want to run it on server .I am using sql server authentication with user name sa to connect to oledb destination . I have also created a generic package config file .
When i try to run this package on server , it is still pointing to local machine and fails to execute .

Is it the issue with permissions ?.
As per MSDN library , i created the config file . Edited the file with configured value . Do i need to change the connection string in config file ?
I am new to the SSIS and dont know how to run it on another machine .
Am i missing something ?

What error message(s) are you getting? What properties do you have configured in your XML configuration file?
Thanks,

Also, when you configure the SQL Agent job, do you add the configuration file to the "configuration" tab?

I am interested in knowing this as well. Please post the error messages. Are you storing the package in msdb or as a structured storage file as well?
