Cannot execute sp_repldonw/sp_replcounters after Distribution Database Restored

    Hi I have a Transactional replication between two server, the distributor and publisher are in the same server. I had to restore the distribution database since we detatched the disk having the distribution database files. But once the distribution database was restored the replication stopped working, these are the error messages on the replication monitor:

    The process could not execute 'sp_repldone/sp_replcounters' on servername

    The specified LSN {00000a00:0000740b:0004} for repldone log scan occurs before the current start of replication in the log {00000a00:00008b4c:0003}. (Source: MSSQLServer, Error number: 18768)

    Can any one help me out .

    You need to perform snapshot in this case and then start synchronization

    Hi I did a new snapshot, but am still getting the same error?

    please provide error detail as it must be different error then what you encountered earlier.
