I am having an issue where we can not create a Linked Report from within Report Manager when the report has parameters that get their values from a query.
The error we get is The <parametername> parameter is missing a value.
I've verified the default parameter value we are choosing matches what the query needs.
Any thoughts? Has anyone gotten a linked report to work like this?

I finally figured out what was going on.
When creating linked reports in report manager, the default value must match one of the values returned by the query.
So for example, if you have a query based parameter that lets the user pick the department from the drop down but the value being submitted by the parameter is the ID value of the department the default value in the linked report must be the ID value and not the Department name.
This presents issues when a user may not know the internal values only the more user friendly names. i.e. Accounting is really 21
I'd like to see the default value box actually show all the choices and let the user choose the value.
