I am using SP2 and cant connect to SSIS from SSMS. Also, I have another problem. I try to connect to Integration services using SSMS and want to connect using sql server authentication. Its not even allowing me to go to that option. Its like disabled. Though I can connect to database services using sql server authentication. Any help would be a lot of help.
Thanks in advance,

Thanks for the reply,
But if that is the case, why do they even have it in SSMS? I thought it is there for a reason. I mean I could login and execute it as a sysadmin but cant do it without that permission. If you guys know anything else, it will be helpful.

You can connect if you have a Windows account with the correct permissions (and that's the account you start up SSMS with). So you can manage SSIS from SSMS, you just must do so with a Windows account.

For connecting remotely using SSMS you need to have configured permissions to the DCOM config node and provide access permissions to connect to SSIS. Refer this link for more info,
