I have inheritied a SQL 2005 SP3 in our other office that has a default instance and a named instance. I have access to SQL Server and I created a Windows ID and SQL Server authenticated ID in both. I can connect to the default instance just fine. When I remote Console into the server I can connect via Management Studio via my NT ID and SQL Server Auth ID. WHen I attempt to connect via my PC and Management Studio it says Access denied or doesn't exist.
Remote Connections are enabled, SQL Server Auth is set to active..... what else can I check.
I can connect to the default instance via my PC so I know there are no firewall rules disallowing me to that server.... Any thoughts would be appreciated.
