Cannot attach database in sql server manager

  Hi there,

  I created a database with one table on my computer (XP) and can update the table with sql server management express. My client has Vista and I installed the management express with SP2 and he cannot attach the .mdf file. It gives the error 5120. I can't figure it out. Any help???!!!

  Is this a SQL Server 2005 database? Does this KB article describe your problem?:

  Hey there,

  Thanks for the reply! I posted in another part of this forum and got some help. I ended up having them turn off the uac. It worked out great!
