Cancelled Restore

    Having a bit of a problem! I started a restore from EM and then tried to cancel it using the 'Cancel' button after a while. The database in EM is now greyed out and has the word Loading next to it. It has been like this now for over three hours.

    What is it doing and how can I get the database to be accessible again?

    I might be wrong but I believe your only option is to finsh the restore you started.

    I don't know if you can do this in EM but in query analyser you would use RESTORE WITH RESTART. If you need information on how to use this command see BOL there's quite a few example there.

    Oops Struts is definetly getting to me.

    You'll need to just do a full restore from scratch. restart only works with tapes.
