don't know if any one remembers this feature,
but in sql 2000 while using the query analyzer
you could use CTRL+B which grabbed the output
margin so you could easily resize it, but in
2005 management studio it doesn't work.
don't suppose there is a way this can be done
in 2005?? i mean for CTRL hotkey any way?
any one?

Yes I loved CTRL+B as much as Win+E for explorer
Sql2005 had provided Ctrl+R to raise and lower the result pane.
Good luck and have a great time.

CTRL+R is actually in 2k QA also. It toggles the resultpane on and off, so it's almost the same thing as CTRL+B (not quite, but almost)

yes it's close, but certainly not the same.
just about every one i know who uses management studio needs
to 'resize' not really toggle on/off the result pane although that
is also quite useful.
i've tried all kinds of combo's to get the 'resize' to work, and
haven't found it yet.
if any one out there stumbled on this little trick i would love
to hear it.
