Hey everyone can we write a Temporary table in Cognos report studio Query Explorer and make it run if not what is an alternative, I am having 4 temp tables which i have joined using joins and trying to execute.
The other question is can we use a Case statement in Where condition and after the case Statement in Where condition can we use a Group by Function.
Please Help me out guys.

I believe you are in the wrong forum. This is a forum about Microsoft's Business Intelligence suite on SQL Server.
You should try a dedicated Cognos forum.
(and I don't believe you can use temp tables in Query studio, as the purpose of Query Studio is to retrieve data from a database, while the objects in this database has been modeled in Framework Manager. About the other question, I'm not sure what you mean. Perhaps you could provide an example?)
