Hi All,
I have a report which calls two subreports.
Can I export the detail reports to excel?
I want to do this along with master. i.e i must put them in a single excel.
Is is possible?

Hi,
I think it is possible , provided you are using the Subreport object from the Tool set rather than using the Jump to Report option in the report main report.
Thanks & Regards,
MC

oh sorry i must have mentioned it in my post.
i have actually used Jump to Report option itself.
So its not possible 🙁
Is there any other way by which i can export such reports?

No, it cannot be done in SQL Server 2005.
See the BOL: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms157399(SQL.90).aspx

Only just starting out on the sql server BI road but I've acheived this by exporting to CSV and then linking to this from an excel workbook.

Instead of exporting directly to excel which doesn't contain the subreport data I export to CSV. I then have a workbook saved that uses the csv data as a datasource and updates when opened. In a way it kinda defeats the point of using reporting services to format a report - but its the only solution I found when users want the report in an excel format.

You can't export subreports directly to Excel in SSRS 2005, but you can do it in 2008.
