Can report server use more than 4GB memory if available?

  Hi,

  My question is for all who have read this book or not;

  SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 Step by Step book by Microsoft press; on page 385 of this book there is a note,

  "Regardless of total memory available on the server reporting service is unable to use more than 4 GB of memory"

  Now how is that happening? I have not read this anywhere else 🙁 There is no appropriate explanation about this given in the book either that why it cannot use more than 4 GB of memory if avaialble?

  The 4GB limit is only for Express, Web, and Workgroup editions. Standard and Enterprise editions are only limited by the operating system maximum.
