Can not login into SSIS from other domain - HELP!!

  Question: From a developers Visual studio Client workstation, he can not access (login) into the SSIS engine on a SQL Server 2005 EE. Error is "connect to SSIS service in machine 'XXXXXXX' failed. The RPC server is unavailable".

  I tried myself and automatically assumes my "windows domain ID" and I am able to login since i am 'adminitrator on the box.

  But this developer only gets this error.

  Does it needs any special authorization in the box?, in the SQL Server database engine?, or maybe somewhere else?

  Please help....

  Can you try adding the remote user under “Distributed COM users” group on the SQL server and check...
