I installed Reporting Services 2008 on a window 2008 64 bits machine.
Everything works ok locally. i can open and use report manager.
if I try to access the report manager from other computer , I got "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" ..
I did not install IIS on the report server.
Please help.

Don't think IIS is required for SSRS.
Did you try http://serverip[/i%5D%5B/b%5D/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx and the click on the link to your reports?
Thanks,
Chris

For SSRS 2008 onwards the request channeling is not done via IIS anymore, the HTTP.SYS is the broker. Also no need to provide the port number
try with http://servername/reports

Did you ever find a solution for this? I'm experiencing the same problem.

Why hasn't anyone called into question the firewall/proxy yet? That would be the first thing I'd check.

No, I don't know why. Do you think it is the 64 bit win 2008 server security issue?

Good thought...I'm now reading through this MSDN article How to: Configure a Firewall for Report Server Access

Did you try checking your firewall settings on the Reporting Server?
Thanks,
Chris

Check the firewall settings on the Reporting Server.
Just try temporarily disabling the firewall on the server and test your connection and see if it works.
Thanks,
Chris
