Can i try always on 2016 between two instances on the same box ?

    Trying to play with SQL 2016 always on,  already get one box,  not sure if I can get it going between two instances on the same box ? thx

    AFAIK, no. You need to use two hosts. You can use virtualization, but you can't have two instances on one host.
