Can I total a value in a textbox?

    Hi

    I have a matix report which by person by day of month display a value depnding on a condition

    something like

    1 2 3 .... 31 total

    Jim Smith a b 2 <-is textbox9 is a formual to total

    etc..

    I want to get the sum the total for all clients

    cant I somehow sum textbox9 the formula for the total

    I am not clear on exactly what you are trying to do but have you tried using ReportItems to gather your values for the total?

    I tried ..=sum(reportitems!Textbox9.Value)

    but getting the error Aggregate functions can be used only on report items contained in page headers and footers
