Can I run a VBScript from xp_cmdshell?

  I am trying a work around for my scheduled DTS package that runs a Visual Basic ActiveX Script but fails. I think I can run the script from xp_cmdshell.

  I don't need a handhold, just the viability of doing it and the basic syntax.

  Haven't tried, but it should work as long as you have rights to use xp_cmdshell. Syntax should be xp_cmdshell 'wscript whatever.vbs', I think.
