  Dear All,

  Can anyone tell me on how to Rename my MSDE instance to a different one in Enterprise manager or Query Analyser?

  I need to rename my (local)\VSDOTNET to (local)\NETSDK . How do I do it.

  If it can be done plz help right away or else let me know the solution.

  If you read SQL Books Online search for Renaming a Server and it explains what to do.

  By the way this should be posted in the Administration section not Reporting Services.
