Hello,
How can I run the dbcc command?
Can it be done from the cmd prompt?
Sorry from my ignorance but I'm very new to SQL and any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Asher.

Yes, but you need to do it through "OSQL". Lookup "OSQL" in Books Online for full details about usage.
