can anyone pls help with this error in restore database

    Msg 3254, Level 16, State 1, Line 3

    The volume on device 'H:\ABC_backup_2010121.bak' is empty.

    Msg 3013, Level 16, State 1, Line 3

    RESTORE DATABASE is terminating abnormally.

    this error comes when backup file or one of the strip file is empty. Check the size of your backup file.?

    Looks like it is NOT SQL Server backup file.
