Hi guys
Please has anyone seen this before:
The current action cannot be completed. The user data source credentials do not meet the requirements to run this report or shared dataset. Either the user data source credentials are not stored in the report server database, or the user data source is configured not to require credentials but the unattended execution account is not specified. (rsInvalidDataSourceCredentialSetting)
When i try specifying an execution account the error changes to: 'Connection string not initialized'.
Has anyone encountered this?

The datasource is missing a username and password to connect to SQL as. If it is not provided in the data source it trys to use the unattended execution account which you specify at server config time. If this is not supplied then the report cannot talk to SQL and therefore causes the error.

It's an authentication error. When report runs, it will connect to your database and require username/password. You should verify your data source.

Very true SSCrazy,
However when I specify an unattended execution account using Report Server Configuration Manager, it gives the error 'Connection string not initialized' and the strange thing is that it happens only for a particular report.
I cannot explain it really. I will keep looking for any place where the connection string has to be initialized.
The new error it shows is:
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Cannot create a connection to data source 'DataSource1'. (rsErrorOpeningConnection)
The ConnectionString property has not been initialized.

Never mind guys,
I just recreated the file from an existing report and re-deployed. Its working now.
