Not certain what you are indeed asking but a short list would be:
Do's: Upgrade to SQL Server 2012/2014
Don't: Not upgrade SQL Server 2012/2014

Hi ,
I just wann to know what are all the things we should do in standard editon of sqlserver 2005 in our environment most of the servers in Standard Editons I had Experinrce previously with Enterprise Editons only so can you please guide me in this

Your question is so incredibly vague there is no real way to answer it. Do things that make your code accurate and fast. Don't do things that make your code inaccurate or slow. This is really a list for ANY version but maybe you see the point.
