Hi CSS/DBA experts,
I'm a DBA by day and a website hobbyist by night. I've posted this on another forum but thought I would try here as I know I'll get a positive, professional response.
I have an issue near the top of a websites homepage where the table/div is not rendering how I expected in Firefox 12.0.
As you can see in IE7/8 the table of statistics appears in the centre of the page and below the horizontal menu.
Whereas in Firefox the table appears directly after the menu but renders at the right of the page.
It works fine in IE7 and IE8. For what it's worth, the CSS validates ok via the W3C validator.
I'm not quite sure if it is a CSS or a HTML issue so I didn't want to post a pile of irrelevant code up in the forum.

Honestly, IMHO, you should be working it the other way around; that is, you should be designing it for Firefox first and IE second. IE tends to have a number of quirks that are unique only to IE, and works fine in all other browsers -- FF, Safari, Opera, etc. This is something we come across regularly (disclaimer: I'm a full-time webmaster). I can't count the number of times I've been frustrated because it works fine in other browsers, but looks like crap in IE.
That said, if time permits, I'll give your site a look (it might not be until later today) and see if I can make heads or tails of it. You might need to put in a conditional to render it differently if it's an IE browser.

Being a web developer myself I went back to FF 3.x when they released 10. It just so totally sucked that I can't stand it. It seems that FF is getting worse and worse with each release. The footprint is getting bigger and bigger and it is starting to work worse with each release. That being said I looked at your site in FF 3.6 and IE9, they both look fine. I also looked at in a number of other browsers that I have on my machine and all looked to the same. The only thing I noticed is that the top menu line wraps in IE (Car Reviews).
The browser that I use to test with a lot if Opera. It seems to be the most stringent about following CSS exactly.
