hi
I have 20 gb RAM into my system, If I want to take 2TB full backup, how long will it take to get succeed the job?
is there any SOP to calculate it?

The backup time will not so much be dependent upon the amount of RAM in your system but more by:-
(a) the I\O available on the disk where the database is housed - factoring in maximum throughput of the hardware, and what other activity is taking place on that disk channel.
(b) the I\O available on the disk (assuming it is disk and not tape) where the database is being backed up to - factoring in maximum throughput of the hardware, and what other activity is taking place on that disk channel.

I'm not aware of a calculation for determining this. Not only is it dependent on the IO of the system, but it's also going to depend on how much activity is occurring on the server during the backup. Backups, like any other process, will experience contention with other processes as it vies for CPU time.

Also depend on no. of Backup devices 🙂
