    Hi Everyone,

    I am newbiee to analysis services and need some approach in writing a calculated member mdx . I need to calculate the rank of customer depending on the spend for different years (2008,2009,2010) ie,I have dimmesion called customerDetails with member called customer and measure called spend and dim.[time].[year] .Below is for referernce

    year:2008

    Customer Spend rank

    Xyz 1000 3

    Abc 2000 1

    CMY 500 4

    Def 1500 2

    Why not use the TopCount function?

    Thanks for the reply:-). yes ur right by using the topcount function i would be get the resullt.but i need the rank to be physically displayed on the report
