  this topic is quite OT, for it is not even neccesarily about db's.

  Does anyone know a good C++ (Visual C++ preferred) mailing list or a forum like this one?

  About the best I have come across (but even then it is kinda iffy) is the one at http://www.codeguru.com/forum/
