Hi All,
I need help in Configuring SSIS and SSRS. I have nil knowledge in them but trying to learn. I tried installing vs_setup.msi. But now When I run SSIS it is saying that
"Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft DataTransformationServices.Wizards" or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."
But when I searched for this file I found in 2 places.
I have VS 2005, VS 2008 and SQL Server 2005 installed in it. At first when I installed SQL Server 2005 I didn't get Business Intelligence installed so I installed vs_setup.msi later on after installing VS 2008. Now I am not able to work in SSIS? Can any one help me regarding this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried to install the SQL Server 2005 client tools at all? I would re-install the Client Tools from the SQL Server 2005 install and apply any service packs to see if this resolves your issue.

Hi,
For proper working of SSRS install both the visual studio 2005 and sql server 2005 in the same directory mostly C:\ drive since all your installation files gets defaultly stored in this drive.Install VS 2005 ,SQL sever 2205 .Confirm if the BIDS is working and you get develop a basic report using this and then install VS 2008 in someother drive.

i think you did not select all these tools at the times of installing sql server 2005.while installing sql server 2005 at one place you have to go to advanced options then select these tools , then only you get these tools.other wise you dont get these tools..better reinstall it once again....check the options while installing it...

All of you Thanks for the Reply. I will try Reinstalling SQL Server 2005 and VS 2005 at one place and then VS 2008. In another place....
