Bulk Insert.

  • Hi,

    When I try to do a bulk insert from a file on a remote computer I get an error "Could not bulk insert because file '\\remote\cdrive\tms472.tmp' could not be opened. Operating system error code 5(Access is denied.)". How can I over come this error, the remote computer share has "full control" permission to everyone.

  • Thanks Solart for your suggestion.

    To over come this error I had to change the "Startup service account" from "system account" to a valid domain account.
