any advice for a newbie trying to run this example on Windows instead of linux? I'm trying to run ng serve from the root of the angular2 app, but getting an error "You have to be inside an ember-cli project in order to use the serve command."

Just out of curiosity, how much does the API server software cost? I went to the site you linked, and noticed that they do charge for the software, but don’t post what it is, at least not anywhere that I could easily locate.

Also, are you a vendor representative for that company?

As far as my testing was concerned I only needed to have node.js installed on the Windows machine. From there, it's a simple case of running the included http-server instance from within the sample project:

node node_modules/http-server/bin/http-server -p 3000 -o

While I do work for CData Software, I don't have any projected pricing information for the API Server. Our Sales Team (sales@cdata.com) will be able to give you information on pricing as soon as it is available.

It looks like I mis-typed the link to the download. You should be able to download the live Beta from the download links on the the API Server landing page http://www.cdata.com/apiserver. I will update the download link in the article.

Hi dear.
I read this great article and was so interesting. But a question. every thing depends on authtoken. but it located in .js file.
where is the db security ?!!!
