Hi everyone, I get the following error:
Server: Msg 845, Level 17, State 1, Line 1
Time-out occurred while waiting for buffer latch type 2 for page (4:10805568), database ID 27.
How can I increase the buffer latches? I couldn't find any documentation, is there any documentation on this? Thank you.

I recently received same errors in one of my heavy usage SQL Server and contact HP SQL Server support. I was told this error can be safely disregared if it does not appear in very regular basis.
Check Microsoft KB Q310834 for some suggestion for this error.
Can you describe more in details how does this error happen to your system?

I am not sure how it happens, I think its due to normal queries. It is all over my logs, its happening more than 100 times in a day.

I too have been a victim of this error. Documentation as you mention is slim. In my experience, I had to stop the SQL Service. I have not seen it since. I received the error in conjunction with some "Data movement" errors.
Remember this when a developer tells you it will just be temporary. Temporary = Permanent.
