I have just installed SQL Server 2005 and SP1 on a brand new server. When I try to invoke books online it appears to be looking for the following URL...
ms-help://MS.SQLCC.v9/MS.SQLSVR.v9.en/sqlovr9/html/a8d3fcbd-c841-4ac3-8030-585500824964.htm
and IE indicates it is unable to find the server. I don't believe it is a firewall issue on the local server but nevertheless have asked the system administrator to verify that. I have found a couple of suggestions indicating a need to uninstall/reinstall books online but before I do that I would like to now whether or not anyone has encountered a similar problem and if so how you resolved it.
