Hi folks,
Can you please suggest me a worthy book on disk subsystem? I am intermediate dba, having knowledge of basic of storage.
I would like a book which can cover intermediate level of storage concepts, recommendation on oltp/olap applications, bench marking related stuff, best practices etc.
Thank you.

for best practices , this is a really good reference:

Simple-talk also has a collection of books, some of them in a free pdf version as well:

I don't know of a book just on the disk sub-system, but the disk sections of Kalen Delaney's book, SQL Server Internals, is absolutely a must-read. Also Chris Bolton's book, SQL Server 2008 Internals & Troubleshooting, is pretty good, but not as in-depth as Kalen's.
