I am looking for a good book that compares SQL and Set theory. If any of you know, please post it here.

Not sure of anything with this kind of background. Pretty much all I have seen is theories behind the theories on the web. What are you trying to find exactly or just an overview of the Set based workings of SQL?

I just want to know the set based workings of sql. Although I can relate a few joins with sets, I would like to think and write my query based on sets.

In here are some books we have listed. There are reviews for a few with some comments.

Celko's book probably has more theory, but it's written kind of high handed.
