Blocking in ReportServer DB

    In my SSRS ReportServer database GetSessionData is blocked by WriteLockSession, this occurs several times a day and may last for minutes. Any ideas why this happens and how to resolve? Thanks

    Are you reporting against a live database or a read-only copy?

    I'm reporting against a "read-only" db that gets updated every hour from live by an SSIS package.
